Dont like the cold? have cold hands? maybe a back ache or sporting injury? Keep warm with these fantastic large sized hand warmers.
Traditional hand warmers tend to be too small to hold or provide enough heat, but these fantastic new hand warmers are ideal for use in a pocket or placed around an injured thigh.
How to use: Once you receive your handwarmer you will find within the gel a small silver button (the size of a 10pence coin). Simple click the button with a little bit of pressure and watch the magic happen before your eyes.
The clear/coloured gel turns into a solid white substance which instantly gets hot. The larger the size of the hand warmer the longer it can retain heat. These will hold their heat for up to two hours!
It's truly a lovely feeling having one of these with you when you are out in the cold weather, be it a shopping trip or to watch the kids play football - the whole family will want one.
How to re-use / recharge The best thing about these fantastic hand warmers is that they are totally reusable many many times. In simple terms to recharge all you have to do it heat the solid crystals untill they melt into a liquid gel. This can be acheived by simply dipping the large hand warmer into a pan of boiling water for a few minutes. You'll see the solid turn back to a liquid, let it cool and you're good to use it again!
There's more After heating the bag and melting the crytals in the re-charge process the large hand warmer will be hot enough to use as a hotwater bottle! Also, boiling is not the only way of recharging, they simply need a source of direct heat (not microwaves!) - it has been known that car heaters can give off enough heat to recharge the large hand warmer. When heating please be careful not to melt/burn the outer bag of the handwarmer - so if boiling it is best not to let it sink to the bottom of the pan for too long.
There are many colours in the range, packed inside boxes so we cannot choose specific colours, hence they will be sent out at random.
*Limited quantity remaining, current stock appears to be mostly 'clear' colour.
